Panama is located in the world’s intersection. Its geographical advantage makes the Panama Canal one of the main transportation arteries and seven wonders of the modern world. Panama’s tropical climate and rich natural resources nurture various tropical animals and plants, attracting a huge number of tourists and business opportunities. This year, Panama is ranked as the World’s Best Place to Retire. In order to explore more about the first Latin country to join the “Belt & Road” Initiative, the Maritime Silk Road Society and Consulate General of Panama in Hong Kong will co-organise a seminar, with Mr Jaime Andrés Campuzano Meléndez, Consul General of the Republic of Panama in Hong Kong, to introduce the country beyond expectations; and Engineer Rolando Hernández, Chief of Segumar’s Hong Kong office, to introduce the Panama ship registry.
