Passport Renewal for Adults (over 18 years old)

Applicant must come personally with below documents to our Consulate for additional data collection and photo taking using the Computerized Digital System. Make sure to come with the appropriate clothing according to the requirements in point 7.

1. Application Form needs to be signed at the Consulate
2. Fingerprints Forms needs to be signed and prints taken at the Consulate
3. Signature Form needs to be signed at the Consulate
4. Copy of current passport (only first and second page)
5. Copy of valid Panamanian ID (Cédula) without this document we cannot process your application
   • If your Panamanian ID has expired, you must additionally present the following documents:
     1. Copy of another valid identification document that includes a photograph, signature and name according to the details registered in Panama
     2. “Signature Certification” form
     3. Copy of the Panamanian Birth Certificate (must have the authentication seals)
6. Four (4) recent pictures (within 3 months) following below requirements:
   • Size 35mm x 45mm
   • Not blurred or opaque
   • Full colour
   • Full Face view facing front
   • White background
     
   • No sleeveless
   • No low cut shirts or clothing
   • Shirt or clothing cannot be light coloured or white colour
     
   • No piercing
     
   • No earrings
     
   • No big or extravagant necklace
     
   • No contact lenses or glasses
     
   • Make sure your hair is tied back to the hairline, showing neck, shoulders, ears, forehead and eyebrows
     
   • No extravagant hairstyle
     
   • No hair clips, nor ribbons
   • No wigs (only admitted due to illness)
   • No hats
     
   • No smiling showing teeth
     
   • No heavy makeup

Do not overwrite/cross out or modify any of the forms, other forms not provided by the Panama Passport Authority will not be accepted. Please fill out the information in Spanish or English.

Originals of the identification documents (including the Birth Certificate, if applicable) needs to be presented for validation.
