Panama Passports holders travelling to Hong Kong SAR
Panama passport holders do not need a visa for visits to Hong Kong SAR lasting up to 30 days.
Hong Kong and Macao are Special Administrative Regions (SARs) of the People’s Republic of China, enjoying a high degree of autonomy under the “one country, two systems” principle. This means they have their own political, legal, economic, and social systems, distinct from those of mainland China, while remaining part of the People’s Republic of China.
This means that the entry and exit procedures, visa requirements, and overall immigration rules differ between the two SARs and mainland China.
If you plan to visit or transit through mainland China, make sure you obtain a Chinese visa at your country of residency before your trip. Every country or territory decides who can enter or exit through its borders. The Government of Panama and/or Representatives (Embassies and/or Consulates of Panama) cannot intervene on your behalf if you do not meet your destination’s entry or exit requirements.
If you plan to travel between Hong Kong, Macao and mainland China, make sure you apply for a visa allowing multiple entries.
